"Words of the Week" Section???

by Attila
(Hungary)

Your site is absolutely fabulous. I 've discovered it recently and now I am a "Diana-addict":) I would like to suggest a 'Words Of The Week' section. It would be great to learn approximately 5-7 words (each paraphrased and placed in a sentence) weekly.

I hope you like my suggestion and you'll build it in your highly appreciated site. I wish you all the best.

Love Attila
P.S. You are also fabulous! :)
Thanks Attila!

I feel pretty fabulous with feedback like yours! Thank you for your suggestion. I DO really like it. I thought about doing it before but I wasn't sure if people would find it useful. Let’s do an experiment shall we.

Who would like a "Words of the Week" section on this site?

If you would like this, leave a comment telling me your thoughts and reasons for wanting it.

Also, what type of words would you like to learn?
I was thinking I could organize the words into categories like;

* slang
* describing people
* office talk
* synonyms
* weather
* sports
* situations...

I really value your comments and suggestions everyone.

Ask and you shall receive! Thanks for the great suggestion Attila!
I hope to incorporate this new area into the site soon.

All the best,
Diana

That's a good idea!
by: Anonymous

Yeah, this is a very good idea. I'd like to see all types of words.

How about writing all types of words in different sections?

For example:

slang - abc=cba, a=a, bb=bb

office - alkfjal=lkahkljf
Thanks for the suggestion! I will be working on a glossary of words in the future. I think it is a great idea.

I just wanted to confirm what the person who posted this comment meant by the examples.

Do you mean that you want words in different categories like:

Slang
What's up? = A greeting that is asking how things are and what is happening in your life.

Office Vocabulary
Spreadsheet = ...
File = ...

I just want to confirm that this is what you mean with your example.

Thanks for confirming.
All the best,
Diana
