Just like when you were a baby learning Spanish or any other language, you started learning by listening.

In Spain, and other countries, it can be difficult to find opportunities to listen to English. So, plug in your radio and turn up the volume.  

Listening to the radio is a great way to improve your listening skills as you are able to learn while you drive to work, eat your lunch or clean your house.

NPR: National Public Radio

For something a bit different I highly recommend "National Public Radio".

According to their about page,

"NPR is an internationally acclaimed producer and distributor of noncommercial news, talk, and entertainment programming.

A privately supported, not-for-profit membership organization, NPR produces and distributes programming that reaches a combined audience of 26.4 million listeners weekly. [...] With original online content and audio streaming, NPR.org offers hourly newscasts, special features and ten years of archived audio and information."

I absolutly LOVE this website/radio station because it provides learners and teachers with interesting articles which are accompanied by quality audio files as well.

Achievement Radio

If you want to improve your listening skills and your attitude at the same time, listen to "Achievement Radio "!

This free online radio station is a wonderful way to listen to interesting English and improve your listening skills one day at a time.
