English Grammar Doubts: Try Sentence Diagramming
Hi, Diana.
I am from Malaysia. I love your website and I love English so much. The problem is, I am always confused. Am I using the correct grammar when I am talking or writing something in English? Hope your course would help me. Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you very much for your kind words. I am glad that you like the website and that you enjoy learning English.
Grammar can be difficult to learn. Most native English speakers do not learn English grammar directly. They just "know" how to form sentences through using the language.
If you are looking to understand grammar more, you might consider
Sentence Diagramming (SD). I have not tried it yet, but Elizabeth at
www.english-grammar-revolution.com is an expert at SD and believes that it is a simple, easy and very visual way to learn English grammar.
I plan to take her "Get Smart" course myself to learn how to sentence diagram and see if it helps clarify grammar doubts.
Many people (students and teachers) find sentence diagramming a fun way to learn more about grammar.
I wish you all the best and I hope that you find the right method for you to improve your grammar.
Regards,
Diana
