(Lima, Peru)
In January 2004, I was working a lot of. I'm a self-employed architect. I remember that I didn't take hadn't taken a vacations since for a long time. One day one of my cousins visited to me and he told me said,
"Hey Eduardo, why don't we go to Piura to vacation for our holidays?"
At first that sounded good for to me but I told him that I couldn't because I had to do several tasks and he replied,
"come on man, you are always working..." every time...
That was a shoot to really hit me, he had was right. I was feeling tired, stressed out and bored, so I decided to take a short vacation. It took three days were necessary to put in order my office's papers. I went to Piura for eight days. Since I went out From the moment I left Lima it was wonderful I felt free. We got to Chulucanas at the next day. Many relatives were happy for us, and so were we too.
Generally speaking the people over there is are friendly and the weather is nice. We just got had an excellent moment time.
We went to the pool every day... I learned how to swim. We ate delicious local food. We took a dive in a river, we played soccer once or twice times every day. Every night was nice.
Young people are accustomed to spending time together in the main park and I made many friends. We went on to a disco twice, that was amazing. I'm not a good dancer but that day I felt good, so I danced as like never before.
Finally we came back to Lima. I was too so sad.... but I spent 8 wonderful days over there that I'll never forget.
